Dick Smith from what we know was a man that made his dreams come true and now that dream has become a successful family business. If that is not the american dream I don't know what is. We were sad to hear the news of Dick's passing and offer the Smith family our sympathy. If you grew up fishing in our area...you were not a fisherman or women if you did not know of Dick Smith and his bait shop, as far as we are concerned he is a legend and always will be part of our lakes, rivers, and memories.
